Phillip
and John must be very pleased with their horses' runs at Morven.
Phillip
will very likely have been preparing for North Georgia, next weekend, while Morven
will have been Sloopy's last run before the "Modified" at Rolex-Kentucky.
(Phillip
and The Foreman are pictured at right jumping into the first water at Pine Top
in early March.)
Jan
Thompson withdrew her overnight leader, Task Force, before Cross Country. Yvonne
Lucas and Car Tanga, second over night, retired on course. Nina Fout and 3 Magic
Beans went from a tie for 6th to 4th place.

Once
again, John and Carrick were having their last run prior to the "Modified"

the important Pre-Olympic test to come in less than three weeks. (John and
Carrick are pictured at left during the Dressage Phase at the Burghley Masterfood
CCI****, last September, where they finished 4th over all.) Phillip and Hannigan
moved from fourth place over night to second, while not having a particularly
fast run.

Note: eventingetc congratulates
Morven Park Horse Trials on their prompt posting of results throughout the competition.
Both Red Hills and Galway Downs, the hosts of the first two CCI-W***'s, could
