READ THIS AND CHEER!!!

Today 21 August at 16:30, the FEI received the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on the appeal of the National Olympic Committees of France, Great Britain and USA on the Eventing competition of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. The appeal was accepted by the CAS.

Consequently, France earns the Team Gold Medal, Great Britain the Silver and USA the Bronze. Leslie Law (GBR) is the new Individual Olympic Champion; followed by Kimberly Severson (USA) (Silver) and Pippa Funnel (GBR) (Bronze) (complete results will be available on ww.athens2004.com as soon as corrected).

Friday, August 13: The Olympic Council of Ireland has chosen the Equestrian Team to Lead the Irish Olympic Squad at the Opening Ceremony in Athens Tonight.
Niall Griffin, who spent time in the USA riding with the O'Connors, will carry the Irish Flag. His 27th Birthday was yesterday.

Condition Report from Deep Creek

Deep Creek Horse Trials organizer Cindy Burge was injured on Saturday, July 24 at The Event at Rebecca Farm.

AS of Today (July 27) she remains in a coma and on life support at St. Patrick's in Missoula. There has been no change.

Our thoughts are with Cindy and her family.

While we’re sure Cindy and her family appreciate everyone’s well wishes, at this time please do not send flowers as they are not allowed in the trauma unit.
