The
following report from Bonnie Mosser was written on Thursday, June 16th:
Hi
America,
Day one of dressage. Well the lead off girl is in 7th place
out of 14. Mr. Jenga was as best as he could be. He was fantastic all week and
today he came off the bit a little, which caused a few extra lead changes. I am
okay with my 58%. Saturday will be another score.
The lead horse so
far is Lucinda Fredricks on a 48%. Ed and Bea showed up today, just missing my
test by 12 minutes. That's all right. We took the course walk with the Captain.
The Germans do put on a good show. Very relaxed; but, very spectator friendly.
After dinner tonight we took a ride around part of the cross country course by
horse drawn carriages with one of the German riders speaking about the course.
Yes, it was in German. A nice man helped with the translation.
The nights
are late only due to the day light. It is 11:00 (PM) and it just became dark out
side. Tomorrow more course walking and watching my team mates ride their dressage.
Talk tomorrow, Bonnie
