Fisher Wins CIC***

Robyn
Fisher, of West Hills, California used Rebecca Farm as her final warm up for
the FEI Eventing World Cup to be held in Malmo, Sweden, in August, and made it
a winning run with Le Samurai. This pair was second after Dressage
on 54.8; picked up 5.6 time faults Cross Country; and added 8 jumping faults and
6 time faults in the Show jumping for a final score of 74.4. (Robyn and Le
Samurai are pictured at the right jumping the alternate at the first water at
Rolex-Kentucky this spring.)
Canada's
Hawley Bennet rode Livingstone, who was third after Dressage and
dropped a slot to fourth after Cross Country with 7.6 time faults for a score
of 63.7. They finished in second place with 12 faults Show Jumping and a final
score of 75.7.
Kristin
Bachman and Gryffindor were seventh after Dressage on 62.8 and moved
up to fifth with 4.4 time faults and a two day score of 67.3. 8 faults Show Jumping
plus 3 time faults gave them a final score of 78.3 which was good for third place.
Leigh
Mesher rode her My Beau, formerly the international ride of Amy Tryon,
to win the Dressage on a score of 52.8. 10 time faults Cross Country dropped the
pair to third place, and then they were eliminated in the Show Jumping Phase.
Jessica
Heidemann, of Bellingham Washington, who also plans to run at the FEI World
Cup in Malmo, Sweden, with French Twist, was eliminated in the Show Jumping
Phase as well.

Unparalleled
Success at the 2005 Event!!!
Rebecca Farm
achieved unparalleled success in orchestrating their 2005 Event at Rebecca Farm!!!
Attendance by competitors, spectators, vendors and media increased dramatically.
There were 375 entries, 7,360 spectators, 55 Trade Fair vendors and over 25 press/media
representatives. Sponsorship doubled since 2004. Over 200 volunteers contributed
their time and services to every aspect of planning, organizing and running of
the Event. Their contributions were invaluable. The international officials were
consistently impressed by the efficiency, growth and improvement of the Event.
Local
contractors provided exceptional, world-class service during every aspect of the
Event. The Event would not have been as successful without these dedicated professionals
who provided us with top-notch service.
The 2005 Event was
a World Cup Qualifying Event and four riders were selected for the U.S. Team following
their performance at Rebecca Farm to compete at the World Cup final in Sweden:

Robyn Fisher on Le Samurai won the CIC*** at Rebecca Farm (placed 10th in the
world).
" Lauren Whitlock on Kipling was 4th at Rebecca
Farm (placed 19th in the world).
" Jessica Heidemann on French Twist,
despite being eliminated on Show Jumping day (missed the finish line while she
was in the lead) had enough points from previous qualifier to make the selection
also (placed 11th in the world).
" Kirstin Bachman elected
not to go to Malmo but was also qualified to go.

The
2005 USEA Gold Cup Series Trophy in the CIC***/W division was presented to Robyn
Fisher of West Hills, California and her 10-year-old Thoroughbred/Holsteiner gelding
Le Samurai and the CIC** division was won handily by Canadian Shannon Thompson
of Summerland, British Columbia and her horse Zingeroo.

respected event!"

every year at Rebecca Farm is creating an essential destination for Eventers from

the sport and we are so pleased to see the high caliber of sportsmanship that
is being consistently represented at Rebecca Farm by these riders, trainers and
their staff."
The 2006 Event at Rebecca Farm promises
to be even more exciting as Rebecca Farm continues the development of the Event
as an international equestrian destination.
