Meeting & Convention UPDATE
We
re just a month away from the USEAs Annual Meeting and Convention!
Presented by Nutrena, the Convention will take place December 7-10th at
the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis, Missouri, and is proving to be so popular
that our room block is full. The hotel will honor the USEAs special room
rate of $109/night through November 15, but there is a possibility that the hotel
will sell out of rooms completely, so make your reservations soon. To do so on-line,
visit the Hyatt website here. Various forums will be held throughout the
Convention, including the USEA Open Forum on Thursday, December 7 at 4 p.m. Wed
like to know whats on your mind, so please email topics youd like
to discuss to Convention Director, Jan Zwak, at Jzwak@aol.com. And dont
forget the other open forums, including the Organizers Open Forum and the
USEF Active Athletes Open Forum, both on Thursday, the Rule Change, Land
Conservation, Adult Riders, and Area IV Adult Riders Open Forums on

than, Its just four more inches, and panelists Robert Costello,
Jim Graham, Mike Huber and Seema Sonnad will help you determine if
now is the time for you to make the move up, and if not, what skills and experience
you need under your belt before making the move, safely and successfully. Another

Planetarium starting at 6:15 p.m. Dinner will be catered by Wolfgang Puck, so
expect a very special gastronomic delight. Tables will be set in the dome of the
planetarium, where the ceiling will be lit with a show of the night sky. Between
star displays, slide shows of the World Equestrian Games and World Cup will be
projected onto the domed ceiling. A state-of-the-art surround sound system will
provide larger-than-life music. The McDonnell Planetarium is considered one of
